What is the best format for a logo

Great question and super common.

The best formats are going to be .eps, .svg, .ai, .jpg or .png.

• .eps is really for printing but gives us a high resolution and the ability to export to our desired format
• .svg is awesome because it scales without losing resolution and is usually super "light weight" meaning the file size stays small. And it tends to a have a transparent background so we can lay the logo on top of other backgrounds.
• .ai is much like .eps so we can export it AND we can adjust it if we needed
• .jpg is pretty standard. It's really comes as you are format. That means the background is embedded and we can't really lay it on top of other elements or backgrounds. They tend be light weight as well.
• .png is made for the web and maintains a transparent background as well. We love these.
